Our team

Neil Kirkpatrick

Creative Director

Neil founded Orangutan in 2004 following a successful career working for various leading digital agencies. Over his 14 year career Neil has worked for clients such as Boots, Mercedes-Benz, Disney, Xbox and Panasonic.

At Orangutan Neil spends his time developing the overall direction of the business, leads the creative team and has final responsibility for all studio output.

Matt Chocqueel-Mangan

Project Director

Matt has a business background and over 12 years of experience helping clients in the digital space. Previously working for digital agencies as producer, then running his own digital consultancy for 5 years.

Matt is responsible for working with clients to develop and implement clear, effective digital strategies.

Andrew Sims

Digital Designer

Andrew is our lead designer, ensuring we create beautiful, considered and usable work for our clients.

Before joining us Andrew's experience includes working with orgnaisations such as UNICEF, Great Ormand Street Hospital and The Royal British Leigon.

Martin Purcell

Lead Technical Developer

Martin is Orangutan's technical guru, he is responsible for developing our back end systems, whether that's creating new modules for our own CMS 'Nest' or working with other systems such as Joomla, Wordpress or a clients own platform.

Prior to Orangutan Martin has worked at the BBC as part of their in house development team, he has also developed commercial ecommerce software.

Nicolas Telfer Guimera

Client-side Developer

Nico's role at Orangutan centers around design and user experience. Ensuring we create websites that are on brand, beautiful to look at, well built and easy to use.

Originally from Tenerife, Nico's background includes creating numerous websites for the tourist and entertainment industries.

Esther Kirkpatrick

Operations Manager

Esther is a co-founder of Orangutan and is responsible for the day to day operations of the studio and managing the commercial aspects of any project.
